Disneyland in Slides - January 1967 - Part 2

We saw the first half of this Janaury 1967 set back in June (link) as always, the second half is not as nice as the first half but still fun to look at.

Wow...
Picture #1: You can clearly see the Indian unlike today because there are sooo many trees in the way! Also, you can barely see someone in a red shirt on the island, checking out the train.

Picture #2: The Small World building looks magnificent in the sunlight. The surrounding area is rather ugly compared to now.

Picture #3: You can barely see it but Dopey is holding a fishing pole!

Picture #4: A chain link fence? UGH!

Wonder what's up with the green tarp covering that first railroad car? At least I think that's what I'm seeing in that last photo. Can't imagine what that would be there for.

.......yeah...that chain link fence doesn't seem very Disney....

really odd about the green tarp on the train coach------I can't come up with any reasons it would be there---most of the costruction going on in 1967 would be visable on the boarding side of the coach -I wonder if the whole train had it???

I kind of dig the chain link fence as framing for the shot, though. It's weird and out of place but looks kind of cool.
