That’s got to be one of the best Grad Nite covers I’ve ever seen, I so dig that art work!
Does that really say what it looks like it says about KFWB? "Featuring Color Radio's popular DJ Larry McCormick." For those L.A. readers, that's the same Larry McCormick that spent over three decades hosting KTLA-5 News.

The Costa Mesa High School "Mustangs". AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME !!! A truly golden post. Much appreciated Tim.
Wow, great item... it's hard to imagine any amusement park producing such an elaborate brochure for grad night these days. I wonder how many schools will participate this year?
My dad was at KFWB in those days. "Color Radio" was a takeoff on "color TV" which was just emerging. http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0oGdLhrDwhMLIQBF.NXNyoA;_ylu=X3oDMTEzZmplNzM2BHNlYwNzcgRwb3MDMQRjb2xvA3NrMQR2dGlkA0g1NTNfMTYy/SIG=1250v3b0d/EXP=1275683051/**http%3a//www.colorradio.com/color_radio_history.htm.
OldDLFan, thank you for the info and that fascinating link. It does seem like an odd choice of words if you look at it without any historical context, it's still a bit odd with the context.

I've heard that DL no longer makes the grads dress up for Grad Nite. NO FAIR! We had to wear a suit or sport coat, dress shirts, ties, slacks and dress shoes! The women had to wear dresses or pantsuits. You weren't allowed in the park if you didn't meet the dress code.
LOVE the font they used for the titles - wow!
What a great piece!
"And it’s all about Color Radio.”
Bob Sande: “Which is what?”
Me: “It’s an incredibly entertaining team of deejays, each with a distinctive and appealing personality and it’s a stream of compelling content unlike anything you’ve ever heard before. It’s programming that could change the sound of radio forever...”

When Disney dropped the dress code in the 90's I was told that one of Eisner's kids got upset that he had to wear a coat and tie so it was dropped the next year.
I have this same program I just found in a box in my garage. Also have the ticket to get into the park and the handout info sheet for the nights activities. Any interest in buying it from me just let me know, jasonmccormick@hotmail.com
All in mint condition
