This "Angels Disneyland Fun Day" ticket can't possibly be FORTY years old, yet June 13, 1971 would appear to be forty years ago today.
The back of the ticket lets us know this was a "Special Angels-Disneyland Double-Header Party" do you suppose it also included a ticket to an Angels game?

Yes, the whole point of the Angels-Disneyland Fun Days were to see a game and then go to Disneyland! I'm sure that took the sting out of their many losses. (If I recall correctly, the Angels lost on almost all of the "Fun Days.")
Arg, 40 years. Guess I am officially old.
Major........Officially old set in yesterday, for me. I went to a Giants game............& realized that the last one I went to was 1963!!! Still have a program & the bobble-head! Can't remember a thing, I was only 3 1/2!
Per retrosheet.org, I can reveal that on June 13, 1971 the Angels lost to the soon-to-be extinct Washington Senators, 5-2. :)

LOL! Gosh, who would go to a game AND Disneyland all in the same day? (Probably me - sounds like fun)
The real draw to these Fun Days was the RARE chance to have an UNLIMITED PASS. These tickets came with a redeemable tear ticket and you would receive an unlimited ride pass during the years when it was a coupon book ticket situation. Also, the park was open till past midnight...so this was a very cool ticket.
