Euro Disneyland Commemorative Passport - 1992
Euro Disneyland opened 20 years ago on April 12, 1992. In 1994 the name was change to Disneyland Paris and all of sudden it was making money? I prefer "Euro Disneyland", but I guess they forgot to ask me.
Some super and very familiar artwork adorns the front of this 1992 Commemorative Passport. I blurred out the "limited edition" serial numbers, I have no idea why.
Since there's no expiration date technically this ticket should still be valid. Of course also "technically" "Euro Disneyland" doesn't exist anymore.
The BIG ticket (12" by 4") comes in this neat folder that has a cut so you can see the castle on the ticket.
When the ticket is gone its replaced by these fun silhouettes.

Disneyland Info - 1983
Let's party like its 1983! Anaheim residents, "It's Your Time" - time for a special deal at Disneyland.
More facts than you can shack a stick at! Hey, a Magic Kingdom Club Annual Passport for $55?? According to Disneyland' own brochure from 1984 (link), 1984 was the "first time ever" for the annual passports (at $65), what gives? I think TokyoMagic has one of these 1983 Annual passes, maybe he will share it with us.
or you time travelers out there.

Sundancer Magazine - May 1976
Welcome to Magazine Monday. Looking towards the bottom of the stack today we find "Sundancer" magazine from May 1976. This appears to an "in-flight magazine" from Hughes-AirWest (a great tribute website can be found here - link). Los Angeles artist Robert Krogle does his "first" illustration for the cover, does anyone else think it looks a lot like this (link)?
A fairly straight forward account of Southern California's "things to do" circa 1976. Who would have thought these were "simpler times".
I was going to look up the artist on this Kodak advertisement to see if he also did Playboy cartoons, but, well, I really don't have too. I don't recognize his name, but I most certainly recognize his work! Anyone else with me on this?
Even though O.J. is trying to rent us a Pinto, I bet he's much rather be doing that than what's he is currently doing.
I'll take the LTD for $14 per day!
Pretty Jag... To bad you probably needed a personal mechanic just to keep it running!
That's one odd looking wireless phone, it kind of looks fake, but for $400 it better be real.
I wanted one of these calculator pens so bad, Bond, James Bond.
Neat article about NBC's and other disappearing logos.
This magazine must have been printed in an alternate timeline... In our timeline this Hotel/Casino is of course "Biffs"
Back when the Golden Nugget was a Legendary Saloon!

Night of Joy at Disneyland - April 13, 1984
Happy Friday the 13th everyone! What a perfect day to celebrate and have a "Night of Joy" at Disneyland, Friday, April 13, 1984.
Debby Boone was ready to light up your life on the Space Stage at 8:00, 10:00 and 11:30 p.m.
Great 80's hair Debby! But I'll admit I like your 70's hair better (link).

AT&T Advertisement - August 1967
When people say they don't miss the Mary Blair Mural's because the murals "didn't really have anything to with Tomorrow" they really should read this August 1967 AT&T advertisement. Mary was "interpreting the promise of world wide communications in a colorful tile mosaic of a children's orchestra sending music to friends in other nations".. She predicted iTunes and YouTube four decades in advance!

Drop in to the Alligator Farm - 1963
Back in the 1960's (and I guess since 1907!), after your visit to Knott's Berry Farm, you could walk on over to the Alligator Farm across the street and have some reptile fun!
I've been to one of these "farms" in Myrtle Beach SC and it was pretty amazing. I'll never forget the sight of whole raw chickens being tossed into the gator pits, wow, that exciting!
Disneyland made it on the Alligator map, right off the 101 before it was the 5.

Disneyland's Exciting New Attraction - "America Sings" - June 30, 1974
Continuing with another super newspaper post this June 30, 1974 LA Times advertisement for "America Sings" sure does make me miss this attraction. If it were up to me this attraction would still be at Disneyland, since when did celebrating America become outdated?

Los Angeles Examiner - August 21, 1955
This August 21, 1955 Los Angeles Examiner article is faded and stained, however it's still a fun look at Disneyland when it was only one month old. Did someone write in red ink that the park opened 5/15/55?
"This memorable experience of Disneyland will be shown on "Wanderlust" ... on KABC".. Does anyone know what this was or if we can see it?

30 Years ago today it was time to enjoy a “Nite of Joy” at Disneyland April 2, 1982. According to Disney’s Youth Programs website (link) the current “Night of Joy” event celebrates rock, pop and gospel Contemporary Christian music. I wonder if this includes Christian crunkcore (link).
