Grad Nite - 1968

Getting back to Grad Nites at Disneyland, now it's 1968! This scan of the Grad Nite 1968 program was donated by Matterhorn1959 of at Stuff from the Park, thank you so much! By the way, is that “Opening Day Snapshots” series incredible or what? I hope it never ends.

Tons of Entertainment lined up, wow!

The “Spats” on the small world stage!

Is your high school on the list?

Weird “Color” effect for the black and white photos.

And from my collection, here’s the obligatory photo holder.

This time the photo is missing, there’s probably a story behind that. Print it out and insert your own photo.

Well, now we have proof-positive that "Wooly Bully" was performed at least once at Disneyland.

The Five Americans, did they call themselves that as a backlash to the "British Invasion"?

If the Five Americans fought The Spirits, who would win??

The Mustangs at the Tomorrowland Terrace. Great, great band. They are solely responsible for me buying my first guitar. Some members of this band would also play with the Righteous Brothers Band.

The next night I was at Gradnite with my future wife. She had just graduated from Costa Mesa High School June 13, 1968.
The Spats of Garden Grove were a really good band too.

Good to see the program info. I still have my picture in it's original folder. I didn't see my schools name on the list though....Western Christian H.S. Did I miss it ? Thanks for the memory...what a night that was!
