Molly Vistis Disneyland - 1965

OK I made up her name, but she does look like a "Molly" doesn't she? These four slides are simply marked "1965" I think its safe to assume its Disneyland. Lets follow Molly around shall we?

Looks like a low crowd day.

Say something like a pirate Molly!

Here Molly has shed her blue floral dress for something a little more comfortable.

A live mermaid(s) shot. Outstanding.

Interesting that there is some sort of speaker (?) sticking out of the water near the mermaids. Was there a time when you could hear them if they spoke to you?

Between your post and the Major's today, I'm REALLY missing the Pirate Ship and Skull Rock! Whaaaaa!

That speaker sticking up out of the water is strange. Maybe a loud whistle went off when their shift was over and it was time to clock out!

The speaker almost suggests a peeping submarine periscope. :)

I don’t ever recall seeing those speakers before. Perhaps they called out to guests on the shore. Don’t listen to them! Many a sailor has been deceived by their calls of “Buy more E Tickets at the Tomorrowland ticket booth” and “Visit the Space Bar for out-of-this-world snacks”!

Very rare picture of the real live mermaids. I have heard arguments that they did not exist, although I knew better. Here is proof.

And yes, like J. Alfred Prufrock, I do hear them singing in my dreams...

...usually stuff about taking out the garbage and raking leaves, but, in the dream, it sounds wonderful.
