I know they built that "Festival of Fools" area, but I've avoided it. Did ANY of the stuff on that flyer come to pass? Somebody please tell Disney that nobody really gives a crap about stage shows like that. Even when they're new, they're a snooze. It probably cost a fortune, too! When shows get old, fuggetaboutit. The Snow White show? Zzzzz. Pocahontas? Zzzzzzz. Give us good rides. Here endeth the sermon!
Major, I agree, except as follows:My children really liked the stage shows, for some reason. I loathed them (the stage shows, not my children, whom I love), but sitting to watch a stage show in the shade is just exactly that......sitting, in the shade....for a few minutes anyway. So, as much as I personally would like to see this area used for something more in my line, the stage shows are not all bad, for hot tired parents anyway, like I used to be.JG
Festival of Fools....sounds like a campaign event.JG
The Festival or Fools was a lot of fun! I don't usually go to these types of shows, but was I glad that my wife and kiddos dragged me to this one. There were performers swinging around on ropes and such. Jester type joking, sword fights(?)---that sort of thing.Sure wish they would have kept it going...
Definitely agree with Walterworld on this one. Festival of Fools was one of the very best shows. The show was very interactive and the cast was talented.
