Jack and Jill Magazine - September 1969

Welcome to Magazine Monday. Today we’ve got yet another “Jack and Jill” magazine, this one is from September 1969. Be sure and check out my previous “Jack and Jill” posts: Triple Bonus (link). Christmas 1961 (link) and Christmas 1966 (link).

This fun three page article is all about the how to take good pictures at Disneyland and Donald is going to show us how. WOW, that’s the biggest Instamatic camera I’ve ever seen, that flash must be lethal!

Huey, Dewey and Louie are scaring the daylights out of me! They also spelled “Louie” incorrectly!

Print it out and make your own Spaceship X-19.

This numbers game looks fun, but I’m afraid today’s kids wouldn’t get it, unless it’s an App you can download on your smart phone.

This feature is very similar to a regular item in the Highlights magazines, can you find everything.

Head-ache inducing effects.

A little humor (sort of).

I remember that style of cereal boxes!

Great stuff! Despite my advanced years, I had to find all the hidden objects before moving on!! Thanks! :)

I read Jack and Jill for the insightful political commentary and the interviews with important people. Oh wait, that's Playboy.

Goofy is wondering if those pants make his butt look big.

Ted Key (the guy who did the Diz and Liz comics) is most famous for the old "Hazel" comics.

"Pinching Pluto's nose provides funny action for young visitor in front of Disneyland's 'It's a Small World.'"

Apparently a nose pinch also turns Pluto into Goofy!
