Welcome to an abbreviated version of Bonus Sunday. From the Summer of 1966 its "Backstage Disneyland". This is a large issue at 34 pages so come back on the Holiday tomorrow for the full issue. For now, please enjoy a few select pages.
Hey, I have a slide all scanned and ready to go in which you can clearly see Carliss Rofoli in front of the Tahitian Terrace! I have this issue, but would have never remembered that she was in it, so the timing is perfect.
According to the article count, Disneyland had close to 200 equines in the stables. I wonder what that count is now that the pack animal rides are gone?
What most interested me when I saw this issue is the article titled "Horses of the Circle D." It was known as the Pony Farm until 1980 and this is the earliest/only reference I've seen to "Circle D" before that time.
Based on the post depend, Disneyland experienced near to two hundred equines within the stables. We question exactly what which depend has become how the load up pet trips have died?
