Following up on last months post “Disneyland on August 29, 1957” (link), here is another Disneyland gate flyer and personal expenditure notes from a day at Disneyland on August 20, 1958.
Up first the gate flyer, similar to the 1957 flyer however the Scottish Dumbo is no longer on the cover.
Only a 25¢ increase from the summer of 1957.
Effective September 15th, Disneyland is closed Monday & Tuesday.
These little notes sure are fun. Interestingly, it appears they purchased two general admission tickets (total of $2.50) and then bought individual attraction tickets. Not that I did the math, but it seems to me they would have gotten a better deal with the Big Ten ticket book! Candy 21¢!!! Film 52¢, I wonder if it was slide film?
“M’ for morning and “E” for even, talk about details!

Thanks for sharing these fun little tidbits of trips to Disneyland in the 1950s.
I really wonder if this kid kept track of the expenses just *because*? Or was he/she reimbursed by his folks afterwards? It just seems so un-kidlike!
Receipts like this are great! It's nice to see such documentation. Sometimes in travel scrapbooks you'll find slips like this. Fun!
