A day at Disneyland - March 1967

From March 1967 here's a few fun snaps shots. First up in front of Main Street Station we’ve got the Big Bad Wolf and his omnipresent swaggering tongue, one of the Three Little Pigs and a few attraction posters.

So much for getting the whole castle in the frame, oh well, its still a nice shot. Anyone else miss the ivy growing on the castle walls?

In this wonderfully blurry shot of the Matterhorn you can just make out two sets of construction walls to the right, they must be working on the new Tomorrowland ’67!

And the obligatory Pirate Ship photo.

As a bonus, this set of vintage photographs came with these two pictures from the New York Worlds Fair, they are both dated 1965 on the back.

Those NY shots are fantastic!
And the composition of the Big Bad Wolf image wants to be an art piece! I really love it.

As much as I miss the Pirate Ship, and as popular as it was, judging from the photos (every photo set seems to have a snapshot of it), I don't want it to come back until the current "pirate" craze is over...

Having Johnny Depp and that skinny guy from Lord of the Rings all over this just would not be right.

did you notice "Pepsi-Cola presents" on the It's A Small World sign...? i have an old record album that is also a Pepsi/Disneyland co-branding thing, but for the majority of its existence, Disneyland seems to have had Coca-Cola and related products in the park. anyone know more about this?
