From 1985, the New Videopolis offered a Summer Passport for $40! Yes, that's right, you can visit Disneyland "night after night, anytime after 5pm, all summer long*" *June 22 thru September 7. This coupon for $5 off was given out on one of the Grad Nites, I'm guessing the Summer Passport was available to the public also.
Isn't that ID card great, love that '80's hair! Does anyone have one of these, if so we'd like to see it.

I swear, in the thumbnail view of the coupon, I thought that was my sister in that photo! She had that classic 80's hair.
Ya know, I never so much as set foot in Videopolis or even went near it!
I think I've mentioned this before, but I saw Animotion perform there during the 30 hour party for DL's 30th b-day back in 1985. For some reason, I also remember Prince's video for "1999" playing on the screens that night. 1999....oooooh, that date sounds so far away!
I remember when Videopolis was the newest thing - it seemed so impossibly cool then. Yikes!
I met my wife at Videopolis in 1986I still have our "summer night passports". Let me know how I can scan and load them to this site if you want to see them.
