Mousekedays at Disneyland - October 1980

It’s October 1980 and what will you celebrate? How about Mousekedays at Disneyland? Join Cubby, Sharon, Tommy, Lonnie, Bonnie and Sherry as they sing and dance each weekend in October. Check out a fun vintage newspaper advertisement for Mousekedays over at the splendid “Meet the World” blog (link). Hey Goofy, do I know you?

The 25th celebration was actually starting to wind down by October, imagine actually ending an anniversary celebration during the year it takes place… I swear the Castle still has some 50th garb clinging to it. “Pizzazz” just hat names means they’re cool. The Golden Horseshoe takes reservations? Do they still? I usually just waltz right in a sit down.

That is interesting about the reservations for the Golden Horseshoe. "Seating begins 45 minutes before showtimes". Must have been very popular at the time!
