AAA Funtime Adventure at Disneyland - 1978

It’s 1978 and the Automobile Club of Southern California is celebrating Funtime Adventure at Disneyland. This specially valued ticket admits you to All Disneyland Adventures and Attractions.Retain this portion with that weak little string just waiting to break and spoil your whole day - better ride the new Space Mountain first.

Look what came in my mailbox- heck yes its time to start celebrating!

Insert Trumpet sounds here!

This amazing Christmas present (it has a big “P” on the back!) came from the worlds best Mom ever – THANKS MOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for making this available and offering it to all the World!

I also embedded this on my personal web site, OUR ETERNAL STRUGGLE, so more folks can enjoy it and share it.

Welcome to the "dark" side, LOL! Maybe we'll run into each other at Disneyland.

Cool ticket. I wonder how many people did lose their tickets because of that string breaking or coming undone. We always went and got a pin or button in one of the shops and pinned them on us. Some of those passes didn't have strings, so I think that was more common with those.

Congrats on your renewal!

I want to see the picture on the back so I can point and laugh when I pass you on Main Street.

Jack: have we met?

Connie, I'll be at the park at least three times in January - think slow week day and I'll be there!

TokyoMagic, when we made our annual "union nite" trip to the park in the 70's we always got sticker, the kind made of cloth that leave permanent gunk on your shirt!

Katella, my AP photo is dreadful, it makes my DMV photo look like a clam-shot! You can always spot me on Main Street, who else has vintage tickets in their front pocket? Seriously.. Hey I like your new avatar, that looks really familiar?? Playboy?

I have a sneaking suspicion that Jack's email is spam. Just a guess.

Anyway, welcome to the club. I just got my "P" AP again after letting it lapse for a year or so. Maybe we can finally do that "Gathering of the Bloggers" at Disneyland we've been talking about for years.
