Disneyland Front of the Line Pass - 1996

Here's a fun Disneyland pass, no waiting in line!  This sweet ticket got you and your party to the front of the line for the attraction of your choice.  It does not guarantee immediate boarding, but your "next".

If your thinking of making a copy of the pass shown above, forget it, its from 1996 and they use different ones.  In fact, in 2010 they used one like the one below from my Club 33 visit (link):

Any idea how or why somebody would get a "front of the line" pass? Is it to make up for another ride breaking down?

This was but one of the weapons in the arsenal of TGS (Total Guest Service) and could be issued for any number of reasons. An attraction going 101, a particularly flirty Cast Member and an attractive guest or...there were stacks of these things for just about any minor guest service emergency.

I used to work at photo for splash mountain. Those pics were serious souvenirs for some guests. When the log was not properly in frame or more commonly another guests made a rude gesture and the pic was omitted from the line, we would issue these and guests could ride again. Cast members rode again (on lots of attractions)sometimes lol.. The park reached capacity quite a few times in those days so these passes were sweeeeeet
