I used to love that Global Van Lines building and the sculpture in front of it. When we would see it, we would know that we were finally at Disneyland. To me, that building always looked like it was straight out of Tomorrowland.

I think that might have been the first Vacationland I ever got!

The Mary Poppins ad is fascinating because it uses photographs; look here to see the more commonly seen illustrations based on these photos (or in Julie's case, a slightly different photo?).

Arthur Godfrey has had quite enough of those Dolly Madison cakes!

Yes, TokyoMagic! Seeing the Global Van Lines building always meant Disneyland was right around the corner. I always liked its stylized “modern” facade. Neat to see photographs from inside the office.
