This slide of the train is undated but is handwritten "54 Trip", its also one of those slides that "glass" so its was hard to scan with any clarity. Nice car parked in Ghost town!

And just for good measure, here's the General Merchandise Store from an undated "Blackhawk Films" souvenir slide.

Great train photo, and I still have yet to find a photo taken from the balcony of the Calico Hotel for my own collection! Love the old car.
I have a photo of my brother and me in front of that pump outside the General Store and that sign above it reads, "Not for Peoples - Horses Only" and all the "S's" are written backwards. Is that pump still there today?
Yup Knott's has two locomotives, but only one set of cars. They switch the engines out when one needs maintenance. Both were built for the Denver & Rio Grande in 1881.
What a nice picture, I love to travel on trains, I always every day use it to go to work.
