Today we've neat old book from 1957, "This is California". Karl Obert is the photographer and there are some fine (black and white only) photographs in this book.

I remember there was a copy of this book at my local library, and somebody had cut the Disneyland pages out. Nice to finally be able to see them!

I have that book! I saved it from my mom's house after she died, because I remembered enjoying this as a kid.
Strange aside: One of the few books I've ever had with the title written in that direction on the spine.
I am really enjoying this blog, which I just discovered. I hope the dog's appetite for homework is sated, so there will be more posts!
