EPCOT 1982

Well folks, if you are reading this on Saturday, I am on my way to Florida for a fun filled week of Walt Disney World and the other great area attractions. Stay tuned this coming week as the blog continues and will celebrate Disneyland’s 53rd Anniversary in my absence.

Today’s we are looking at some Vintage EPCOT tickets. First up, what appears to be a test or preview ticket? Sure looks modern for 1982. There is a great post on the Disneyanaworld blog about this ticket (link).

Fun opening day Commemorative Ticket from October 1, 1982. The entry stub is missing; these tickets are cheap and easy to come by on EBay. But one with the stub intact is neither easy to find nor cheap…

Here is the fancy chrome envelope that the ticket came in.

Tomorrow: Bonus Sunday’s 1977 Park Guide blowout!

Have a GREAT trip! I can't wait to hear all about it, since I've never been there. It will be interesting to get the viewpoint of somebody else who is seeing it all for the first time.

A recent complete EPCOT Center opening day ticket went for $158.00

Do you have any grand opening tickets from any EPCOT Center attractions or shows?

I have 2 UNUSED, with original stub attached, pre-opening Epcot tickets purchased in August, 1982 and their silver envelopes. Can anyone suggest where I can get these fairly appraised?

have any of you been able to sell your unused Epcot opening day tickets? I have 4 and would like to try and sell them.

I also have 2 complete tickets with the silver envelope.

Has anyone actually had success selling their tickets?

Also, anyone actually tried using the tickets!? The price for 3-day admission to both Epcot and Magic Kingdom for 2 people is nearly $1,000.

I have 3 UNUSED, with original stub attached, pre-opening Epcot tickets and their silver envelope. They are for two adult and one child. I would be willing to sell them for a good price. I read that you can use them at Disney for a three day Hopper Pass.Regular price today for 3 day for 2 adults and one child is over a thousand dollars.

I have 3 tickets from 82 in gold envelopes that have not been used and I'm looking to know what they are worth. They say good for three days at 3 of the parks that were open back then. I haven't looked at them in a few years, but I think the tickets were gold as well.quil3336@hotmail.com
