Grad Nite - 1977
The Grad from 1977 that held this ticket was insanely lucky; their Grad Nite was on the opening day of Space Mountain! May 27, 1977 was the official grand opening of Space Mountain, as if that wasn’t enough; Disneyland had Grad Nite activity's that day too!
Major, I’m sorry but you can’t wear your turtleneck with sports coat tonight, even with your distinguished pipe.
There's a certain blogger out there (he has some stuff from the park) that just happens to have the Grad Nite 1977 Program - maybe if we ask nice he'll scan it for us... Pretty Please...

Grad Nite - 1973
It’s time for Grad Nite ’73 at Disneyland! This June 12, 1973 ticket is printed on silvery paper with a neat two-tone green overlay, it feels substantial and worth every penny of the $9.00 price. The “Grad Nite ’73 Admit One” type style epitomizes the early 1970’s.
Well darn, I can’t go since my turtleneck with sandals outfit won’t get me thru the main gate. It’s interesting to note that “Safe Drugs” are apparently allowed in Disneyland? And please, hold your own ticket!
I don’t have the 1973 Grad Nite program (let me know if you’ve got one!) so here’s the cover to the Spring 1973 Disneyland Guidebook. It looks like someone was doing a little “ticket accounting” at the top.
The finality of crossing out an attraction – “done”, what’s next!
This Spring guide was effective April 11 1973 to June 15, 1973. You can view the entire Summer 1973 Disneyland Guide on a previous post here (link).

No Strings Attached - A tool in guest satisfaction
Let’s take a look at a “tool in guest satisfaction”. This “No Strings Attached” certificate was given to guests that had “issues”. Undated, but includes Disney’S California Adventure so it must be from 2001 or later.
“Concern” that’s a nice way of saying complaint! So I wonder what level of complaints (and related “issues”) get you a priority entrance and what complaints only get you a soda? Hey, I just need “Elizabeth’s” extension number and department then I can complete this little form! I think I’ll use it on Superstar Limo, there’s always a massive line for that one!

Disneyland Postcard - July 1962
Disneyland postcards are fun, but I will admit I've never had the fever to collect them or rather "collect them all" that's too hard to wrap my mind around. If you haven't already been to this site (link) you should check it out, postcards galore. Today's post(card) is a pretty run of the mill aerial photo, in fact its not even that good of an aerial photo.
The fun part of this postcard is the back! Let's start with the "insufficient address"; since there is no return address, how does this postcard even exist, shouldn't it have died in the dead letter office? Of did the USPS finally find "Freddie Stevens" at "95 Railroad Avenue"? The absolute best part is the senders message "Still love you" that sounds reassuring...

Teen Magazine - June 1961
Welcome to Magazine Monday. Today we’ve got ‘Teen Magazine from June 1961. Be sure and check out both previous ‘Teen Magazine posts here; February 1961 (link) and September 1962 (link).
“Teenage Woman” Tuesday Weld graces this issues cover.
The Disneyland article of course is not about Disneyland, it’s about new clothes! Are those ticket books the young ladies are holding?
These would be the exact type of books the princess’s are holding.
These 5 Adventure books were similar to the books you could purchase once inside the park, they have no admission ticket attached. This book however is a “Courtesy Guest” book and was not for sale.
Five tickets like this are inside, good for ANY ride or attraction. Choose wisely.
Back to the article, I wonder if the young ladies got to keep the tickets?
“Too much sugar in a tea cup”? Lollie-pop colored blouses and Soda-pop shades of lipstick.
Those candy apples are going to get messy! The Dumbo’s look like they have the flapping ears, I bet they weren’t working by 1961.

For all of you Tuesday Weld fans out there, here’s the truth about Tu Tu.
The truth is she likes to date famous older men!
And she drives a dark green 1961 Lincoln Continental – nice car!
“Cinemascoop” features Troy Donahue & Connie Stevens in "Parrish", hey there’s Hayley Mills from Walt Disney’s “Parent Trap”. Check out those Tiki’s! Interestingly, that address in Pasadena is single family home (Google map) and it looks pretty old, was some guy selling these out of his house in 1961? I wonder if he has any left, I want Tiki good #3.
Let’s take a peek at Annette’s private life shall we? I see she’s working on Walt Disney’s Technicolor music “Babes in Toyland”. Walt’s company was everywhere even back in 1961!
This advertisement got my interest, Free Roller Skating! Two free tickets to anyone who presents the coupon below to a RSROA roller rink! Let me know when they call for Men’s Speed Skating, I’m all over it!
What is this “secret” they are talking about? Never mind, I don’t wanna know!
Is “Dental Cream” the same thing as “Tooth Paste”?
This Kartoon Kutie has a familiar last name.
My favorite Hanna-Barbera cartoon Augie Doggie and Doggie Daddie are highly underrated even to his day.
And lastly, some Dingbat Doodles. These are like the Playboy cartoons without the nasty part.
