Magic Kingdom Club Calendar - Spring 1970

You may have noticed the blog has a slightly different look - I was playing with the new blog templates, I pressed "apply" and now there is no going back! Consider it a work in progress - yea, it looks a little weird to me too, it's not quite what I was looking for - yet.

Back to the post, here's a calendar from the Magic Kingdom Club for the Spring of 1970. Lots of private parties in the spring and isn't it odd to see the park closed on Monday's and Tuesday's?

The back side of the calendar had this great advertisement for The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes.

When the Disneyland Line would print Park operating calendars in the 1970s (only happened a few times), they looked exactly like this.

Boy, I remember loving those Kurt Russell Disney movies when I was a kid. Especially, "Now You See Him, Now You Don't". I wonder, if I saw any of them today would my eyes explode?

Kurt Russell!

I'm glad I can live in a world where the man that brought Jack Burton to life can be a Disney Legend.

LOL, my wife rented a lot of that back catalog to show our children as they grew up. They seemed to enjoy them, especially the original Love Bug etc. in spite of the dated look.
