Disneyland VIP Party 1988 - Star Tours Style

Some of Disneyland’s special event tickets of the late 80’s and early 90’s were creatively challenged. This VIP Party ticket show’s the one year old Star Tours but has no mention of it in the text and why is it boxed in the center like that?

You’ll notice this ticket was good on January 10, 1988 or one of the next four Sunday’s in a row. 12 Noon to 12 Midnight sounds like special (or VIP) hours!

Speaking of Star Tours, here is a scan that was donated my Major at Gorilla’s Don’t Blog. Thanks Major, how did you know I might need one of these? I must confess, after my last few trips to Endor I was looking for somewhere solid to sit down and recover. Maybe the attraction  just needs a refurbishment or maybe I do?

See you tomorrow on Bonus Sunday.

Give it time, Major, just give it time...

Hey VDT, do you have the Star Tours preview ticket from the Disney employee open house? That's a goodie.

Wow...I want one of those Spacesickness bags! I don't remember those ever being available in the cabins. I wonder if you had to ask for them in advance? I do wish they would update this attraction....I've heard rumors about it for years. I also wouldn't mind if they gutted it and brought back an updated version of Adventure Thru Inner Space, but we all know THAT isn't going to happen.

STAR TOURS is the only "ride with a warning" that I'll ride. (I've been on most of the others when I was younger and more tolerant of motion) Nice to know it once came with a vomit bag. I've been hearing all sorts of cool things about the changes they are making to the attraction, hopefully I'll still be able to handle it.

Wow...
I remember these Barf Bags were
given out at the press previews!
I thought it was such a hoot that someone thought of them!
Glad to see one still is out there!

Hi, I'm going to Disneyland next month, and I was wondering if Star Tours still have those barf bags. I don't get sick on those rides, I just want to keep the bag as a souvenir!!!! LOL
